Description
Mont d’or is an amazing seasonal, winter cream cheese.
It’s produced within the Jura mountains ( France and Switzerland) between September and March.
The cheese is circled with a “belt” made of spruce’s bark, witch gives it subtle notes of woody flavours .
It can be eat raw on bread and also very popular cooked in the oven within its own wooden container (fondue style ).
